Anubhav is a holistic learning school.
It is an expedition of experiences for a child to ignite the idea of ‘Seeing the world whole; to equip them to thrive in an interconnected world. The school’s teaching and learning approach lays focus on life skills applications & real-world implications, with a design-led, child-centric approach to education. This approach focuses on increasing student agency and empowerment, graduating young citizens who are aware of the world around them, enabled with skills and knowledge and empowered to design a more just and equitable future.
The resource conscious campus is designed by Kakani Associates & constructed by Hitech engineers in a years time, In keeping with the ethos of the school, the campus is designed to maximise the unbuilt outdoor learning spaces, with tactile textures and materiality that stimulate experiential learning.The built form further renders to this softening, carving pockets of varied environs for interactive learning, its materiality a nod towards natural stone, brick, metal, timber and fabric.
The building science is designed to maximise thermal comfort and natural ventilation, with systems engineered to regulate indoor air quality and temperatures to further promote a healthy learning environment for young minds. Traversing through the school is through winding corridors that bulge and contract to pause and overlook each other, continually engaging the eye. The learning spaces have been organised around various labs like the maker, food, science, theatre, performing arts, painting and sculpture studios. The large courtyard incorporating an amphitheatre, acts as the cauldron of all activities.
